How To Play Video Poker:You deposit coins into the machine to place your Wager (bet). The Bet must be placed before you Draw your cards, and can't be changed once play starts. After your Bet, push a button marked “Draw/Deal”, this will result in you seeing your initial hand of Five cards. You then decide if you wish to keep any of the cards in your hand. If you do, push the “Hold/Cancel” button under the card(s) you wish to keep. In the event you change your mind and don't wish to keep a previously held card, push the “Hold/Cancel” button a second time and the hold will be cancelled. For Example Dealer has drawn a 6 ( suit does not matter ) Player (you) have drawn a King, well done, you have Doubled your Money. If you are feeling really Lucky, you can Double again and so on, until you feel like collecting your win. Some games may only let you Double a certain amount of times, this is also in accordance with how much you have won in relation to your Double Up. IF you win a Royal Flush, you will not be given the chance to Double Up Remember that if the Dealer draws an Ace, it is the Highest card, and the only way you can Beat the Dealer is if you also draw an Ace, or in some Poker games the Joker. Joker Wins All in this case. (Dealer or Player) Video Poker is by far my favourite, and have spent many hours playing what I believe to be the best game available. For anyone who wants to start off, I suggest that Poker is The Best Way To Go....You can play as fast or as slow as you like, and you can choose which cards you want to play. Tips Always try and Play Max Bet Per Game / Hand (coin / note size is your choice) Think carefully before you Break Up a Winning Hand. In some cases I have Broken up a Winning Hand to go for a Bigger Winning Hand, and have Won, but this is not always the case. The Following Hands Win Ordered Top to Bottom from the Best Hands to the Least respectively: Royal Flush This is the Highest possible Hand in Poker. A Royal Flush consists of Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10 of the same suit. A, K, Q, J, 10 ( in any order ) However, some casinos you can go for the sequential Royal Flush - in order from Left to Right 10, J, Q, K, A or A, K, Q, J, 10 Straight Flush This is the Second Highest Hand possible. A Straight Flush consists of Five cards in order and of the same suit. Note: An Ace can usually be counted as the lowest card in the order. For example: A, 2, 3, 4, 5 is a group of Five ordered cards. Four of a Kind This Hand consists of Four cards of the same value plus One other Odd card For example: Q, Q, Q, Q, 3 Full House This Hand contains Three cards of One Rank plus Two cards of another Rank For example: J, J, J, 4, 4 or 6, 6, 6, 8, 8 Flush If all Five cards in a Hand belong to the same suit you have a Flush For example: 4 of Clubs, 5 of Clubs, 7 of Clubs, Queen of Clubs and Ace of Clubs Straight Three of a Kind Is a Hand containing Three cards of the same value along with two odd cards For example: 7, 7, 7, A, 2 Two Pair A Pair is Two cards of the same value or rank. You have Two pair if the Hand has Two pair plus an Odd card For example: 6, 6, 7, 7, 2 Jacks or Better A Pair is Two cards of the same Value or Rank. In Video Poker only Pairs of Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces pay off. Remember The cards will not usually be in order when displayed on the screen, be careful when looking at your hand. Most Video Poker games will not make you aware of a hand / potential hand until the game is over. VIDEO POKER GAMES - all casinos listed below offer free sign up bonuses to new players.
